Walter Perdigao is a Whitby resident, husband, father, business founder, and practical problem-solver running to represent Whitby East Ward 4. After more than 16 years living in Whitby, Walt understands the pressure residents are feeling from rising property taxes, everyday costs, and Town Hall decisions that need clearer explanations.
He believes local government should listen better, spend carefully, and focus on the everyday issues that affect families, seniors, homeowners, renters, and local businesses.

Residents deserve to feel safe on their streets, in parks, around schools, and at home. Walt supports practical and modern solutions for traffic safety, speeding, lighting, neighbourhood concerns, and better follow-up when residents report problems.
