I’m running for Local Councillor in Whitby East Ward 4 because I believe residents deserve practical, accessible, and accountable representation at Town Hall.
This Updates section is where I’ll share what I’m hearing from residents, what local issues I’m paying attention to, and how I’m thinking about the decisions that affect Ward 4.
My priority is simple: listen first, focus on the issues that matter in people’s everyday lives, and be a clear voice for residents at council.
So far, one concern comes up again and again: affordability. Property taxes, the cost of living, responsible spending, growth, roads, traffic, parks, and local services are all connected to whether Whitby remains a place where families, seniors, young people, homeowners, renters, and small businesses can thrive.
I’ll use this space to post campaign updates, notes from the doors, Council Tracker summaries, neighbourhood concerns, and practical ideas for improving how Town Hall communicates with residents.
If there’s an issue on your street, in your neighbourhood, or across Ward 4 that you think deserves attention, I want to hear from you.
